IMH plays a key role in training the next generation of mental health professionals in Singapore. We train psychiatrists and mental health professionals through the NHG-AHPL Residency Programme for psychiatry and through collaborations with the local tertiary institutions.

You will oversee the capital expenditure / IT / research budgeting and management accounting of the hospital. This includes reviewing of costing & financial feasibility studies of major investment, analysing and reporting of monthly financial performance of capital / IT / research expenditure to provide proper variance analysis of actual performance against budget and submit monthly management reports and statistics to HQ. In addition to this portfolio, you will also supervise the accountants to support the charity arm of the hospital which is currently operated through a separate legal entity (a company limited by guarantee).

You are expected to work closely with departments to provide financial support, liaise with HQ and Finance Shared Services to ensure timely and accurate closing and reporting of monthly & year-end closing, audit schedules and disclosures. You will also assist in any other admin functions and duties assigned.

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting recognised by ICPAS with cost management and budgeting experience
• At least 10 years’ experience in a management reporting position
• PC literacy in MS Word / Excel & SAP System
