As an M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) Program Manager for IT, you will be responsible for managing complex technology programs and ensuring successful delivery. Your main purpose will be to support and execute integration project plans for recently acquired companies. Your role includes management of budgets and coordination across various groups in Novanta to support acquisition efforts.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Managing cross-functional teams to deliver IT integration programs on time and within budget.
  • Implementing integration plans and budgets that align with the organization’s goals.
  • Establishing program governance structure and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Building solid relationships with business partners and external vendors.
  • Contributing to the development and adoption of PMO tooling and self-service PMO frameworks.
  • Contributing to the maturation and application of an IT M&A playbook for future integrations.

General Tasks

  • Maintain strict compliance with the quality, environmental and occupational health and safety regulations and implementation of the instructions of the quality, environmental management and/or occupational health and safety officer.
  • Have 6- 8 years’ experience managing IT M&A integration projects.
  • Be committed to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to think critically.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Have experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with different departments on shared timelines.
  • Have experience with Smartsheet.
  • Possess a high-level of professional judgement and the ability to manage confidential information.
  • Be committed to improving and streamlining processes
