As CTO, you ensure that IT security is watertight and that Nijhuis complies with applicable laws and regulations. Based on the digitalization ambitions (platforms), Nijhuis is at the forefront of data protection and privacy regulations. Your leadership drives the teams and stakeholders forward, while you promote a culture of technical excellence and innovation based on collaboration.

• In close collaboration with the various central staff departments, you ensure that the technological strategies seamlessly connect with the overarching business objectives.
• You and your team are the bridge between technological innovation and business success. You take the lead in managing the IT budget and align it with the strategic priorities and financial goals.
• As CTO, you are the financial strategist who ensures that every expense is an investment in the future. In addition, you will enter into strategic partnerships and maintain contacts with technology suppliers and service providers. In doing so, you will increase the organization’s capabilities and stimulate innovation.
• Your ability to select the right partners and maintain relationships will strengthen growth and competitiveness.

• a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Information Technology, Engineering, Information Technology or a similar technical discipline. A master’s degree is a plus;
• at least five years of management experience in an IT role;
• proven experience in managing, coaching, motivating and developing people and teams;
• you are a strong sparring partner based on natural leadership and know how to create synergy and support;
• you set clear goals, prioritize effectively and make optimal use of the available knowledge and skills;
• strong leadership and coordination skills to improve IT efficiency and effectiveness across the branches;
• extensive experience in guiding and implementing IT transformations and projects;
• clear vision in the IT field combined with a pragmatic approach;
