- Lead a IT department or several teams assigned.
- Plan, align and/or implement policies, standards and guidelines for principle operations and tactical measures.
- Set out and manages respective projects, budgets and resources, and ensure effective tools, methods and processes.
- Consider and analyze trends and plan the IT workforce requirements from strategic, tactical and operational perspective.
- Manage all people and competence related processes (i.e. PMGM, feedback processes, reward management), cooperate in assessments and guide through an agile recruiting process.
- Responsible for a future-proof competence set-up of the organization and actively drive corresponding measures (i.e. employee retention management, career and succession management).
- Act as a coach, mentor, change promoter and consulting partner for the organization and employees assigned
The People & Competence Manager is the contact person for his employees on all HR issues. He is responsible for HR processes. These include:
- Plans personnel costs
- Monitors employees’ working time accounts
- Processes vacation and absence requests
- Hires new employees in coordination with the job holders of other agile roles
- Conducts personnel interviews
- Main person to make salary decisions
- Represents their area of responsibility in employment law cases in coordination with local human resources
- University degree (e. g. diploma, master’s degree) in Business Administration, HR or comparable professional experience
- People Manager with a proven track record of 5 years plus of work experience in an IT organization as well as managerial experience in a Shared Services environment
- High level of motivation and dynamics as well as distinctive communication skills
- Highly motivated Manager with distinctive and eloquent communication skills and an in-depth understanding of complex business relationships
