As the Head of Financial Reporting & Shared Services, you will oversee financial reporting, compliance, and shared services to ensure seamless operations. Your responsibilities will include managing external audits, financial modeling, regulatory compliance, and technical training of finance departments while fostering collaboration with business partners.
- Ensure all monthly, quarterly, and year-end deadlines are met.
- Manage external auditors and oversee audit processes.
- Prepare quarterly board reports and business plan forecasts.
- Oversee decommissioning and restoration accounting in compliance with DMRE regulations.
- Perform financial modeling for impairment and corporate finance purposes.
- Deliver technical training for the finance team.
- Manage and support the Shared Services and Accounts Payable (AP) team, ensuring strong partnerships with business units.
Minimum Requirements
- CA (South Africa) certification.
Experience
- 5–10 years of post-articles experience in a finance management role.
- Proven experience in preparing financial statements.
- Mining industry experience is advantageous.
Technical Skills
- Strong IFRS knowledge.
- Proficiency in SAP and Caseware.
- Financial modeling and corporate finance expertise.
