The Senior Manager, Human Resources, will play a pivotal role in driving HR strategy, processes, and programs across a complex and growing organization. This individual will support the centralized HR shared services function while providing guidance and support to decentralized business units, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and values. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with experience managing HR operations in a dynamic, acquisition-driven environment.

HR Shared Services Management:

  • Support the centralized HR shared services team, including payroll, benefits administration, HRIS, and compliance.
  • Ensure seamless delivery of HR services to all business units.
  • Continuously improve shared service processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience.

Integration of Acquired Businesses:

  • Help lead HR integration strategies for newly acquired businesses.
  • Develop processes to assess, align, and implement HR policies, systems, and shared services within acquired entities.
  • Partner with leadership to ensure smooth cultural and operational transitions.

HR Strategy and Leadership:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to help develop and execute HR initiatives that align with the company’s growth strategy.
  • Support decentralized business leaders by providing HR expertise and solutions tailored to their unique operational needs.
  • Champion organizational culture, employee engagement, and leadership development programs across all business units.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Help ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations in jurisdictions where the company operates.
  • Mitigate HR risks through strong policies, procedures, and reporting mechanisms.

Talent and Workforce Management:

  • Help develop workforce planning strategies to meet the needs of a diverse and growing organization.
  • Support recruitment, retention, and succession planning initiatives in collaboration with business unit leaders.
  • Assist in driving performance management and employee development programs to foster talent growth.

Change Management and Communication:

  • Help lead change management initiatives related to HR process improvements, organizational changes, and post-acquisition integration.
  • Develop communication strategies to ensure alignment and transparency across centralized and decentralized teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing HR operations in a shared services environment, ideally within an acquisition-driven company.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate acquired businesses and align HR policies and processes.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working in decentralized organizational structures.
  • Proficiency with HR systems (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems) and data-driven decision-making.
