The Head of Shared Services is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and driving the efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness of the HR Shared Services function. This role encompasses the management of the HR Digital Platform (SAP SuccessFactors), HR operations, payroll and benefits administration, and HR audit and compliance. The ideal candidate will ensure that these critical areas operate seamlessly to support the organization’s overall HR strategy and enhance employee experience while maintaining strict adherence to policies and regulations.
HR Digital Platform (SAP SuccessFactors):
- Oversee the management, optimization, and continuous improvement of SAP SuccessFactors to meet the organization’s HR needs.
- Drive the digital transformation of HR processes, ensuring automation, efficiency, and user-friendliness.
- Collaborate with IT and HR teams to implement system updates, upgrades, and new modules.
- Analyze system data and generate reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.
HR Operations:
- Lead the centralized HR operations team to ensure smooth delivery of transactional and administrative HR services.
- Develop and implement efficient processes for employee lifecycle management, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee data management.
- Ensure operational excellence in handling employee queries, documentation, and HR support.
Payroll and Benefits Operations:
- Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and company policies in payroll and benefits administration.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address employee benefits needs and optimize benefit programs.
HR Audit and Compliance:
- Establish and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company standards.
- Lead internal and external HR audits, ensuring all processes and records meet compliance requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to HR operations, payroll, and data security.
- Foster a culture of accountability and adherence to ethical practices across the shared services function.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in HR shared services or related areas, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in managing HR digital platforms, particularly SAP SuccessFactors or equivalent systems.
- Strong understanding of payroll, benefits, and compliance regulations in [specific country/region].
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence.
