We are looking for a Financial Controller who, with a strong interest in the media agency industry, can join a team with 4 dedicated colleagues, where we, in collaboration with key stakeholders in the business, handle the internal and external financial reporting as well as the follow-up and development of the area.
- Handle monthly closing, quarterly closing and annual accounts for your units
- Reporting of actuals, forecasts and budgets
- Ensure correct accounting treatment in accordance with IFRS and instructions from our EMEA HQ
- Follow-up and sparring with CEOs and Finance Business Partners regarding goal achievement, opportunities and risks
- Independently handle a number of SOX controls
- Prepare relevant analyses and benchmarks
- Handle ad hoc queries and reporting to the global network
You have a financial/accounting background, preferably a Master of Business Administration (MBA) – as well as a few years of relevant practical experience within financial controlling. We are part of an American listed group, WPP, and therefore we are subject to the SOX regulations, and it would be an advantage – but not a requirement – if you have experience with SOX from previous jobs. You are analytically strong and used to working with data and reporting in e.g. PowerBI or similar. In addition, you should preferably be a shark for Excel. You want to work in a busy and dynamic everyday life, and you are inquisitive, outgoing and have a great personal drive. In the team, we place great focus on continuous support and encouragement, and you will be surrounded by skilled colleagues who are ready to help with daily challenges. Most stakeholders are in Denmark, but we also have broad collaboration across the Nordic region and with colleagues in our global network. Therefore, good English skills – both oral and written – are a prerequisite. Finally, it is a requirement that you speak fluent Danish in both writing and speaking.
