Manage a team of HR professionals providing full HR support to Vantiva employees in the Americas region. Serve as the main point of contact for all HR topics and manage relationships with stakeholder groups and key individuals to provide strategic and proactive HR support to the business.
- Manage all aspects of the core HR function to include:
- Recruitment – Support managers in all hiring steps, ensuring candidate fit with Vantiva culture. Manage the on-boarding activities of all new hires, ensuring that they are properly assimilated into Vantiva
- Performance Management – Coach managers to ensure effective delivery of messages to employees and support employees in efforts to address performance deficiencies in a legally compliant manner. Facilitate the objective setting, continuous feedback and end of year assessment processes with managers and employees.
- Compensation planning – Manage the salary review process across the Americas and provide guidance to managers regarding off-cycle increase rationale and proposals.
- Talent development – Work with leaders to identify and provide development opportunities for high potential and critical employees.
- Immigration – Oversee the immigration support to employees on visas and in any permanent residence process.
- Payroll – Oversee the payroll process and ensure alignment with internal partners such as Treasury and Finance.
- Benefits – Partner with external support to develop and implement competitive and cost-effective benefits programs across the Americas region.
- Training – Work with managers to identify regional training needs, to investigate vendors, to implement training, and to monitor effectiveness of training conducted
- Develop a rapport with senior leadership, managers, and employees to effectively implement people practices and HR policies.
- Manage the planning, implementation and tracking of Employee Engagement activities for Americas sites.
- Support country-specific audit activities, providing data and participating in audit meetings as required.
Education, Skills and Experience Requirements
- Graduate / Postgraduate degree in Human Resource or related discipline (Preferred)
- 5-10 years’ experience in a Generalist HR role, to include managing payroll activities and a remote team. (Preferred)
- Experience with HR Systems, Workday preferred.
- Experience in managing HR programs and activities across the Americas region
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Strong customer service mentality with the ability to track actions to closure
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Ability to work on tight deadlines and adapt to changing requirements
- Ability to understand the business and work with leaders to anticipate their needs and develop effective and practical solutions
- Strong analytical skills (including Excel and other Microsoft applications)
