Our client is a high-growth, global food manufacturing business. They have recently moved their head office operations to Melbourne and hence are looking for a new head of their shared services function. Our client has excellent retention rates and a fantastic workplace culture.
Reporting to the CFO, your role will include:
- drive continuous improvement within PTP (procure to pay), OTC (order to cash) and credit control policies and procedures
- Oversee onshore & offshore AP/AR teams
- Manage supplier payment process and review payments
- Manage vendor & customer query escalation, monitor vendor confirmations
- Manage customer and supplier credit application process in conjunction with legal team
- Manage and ensure compliance of finance approval matrix/delegation of authority
- Monthly review of balance sheet recs
- Manage the company credit card facility, new cards and cancellations, disputed transactions and provide training while reporting on compliance etc.
- Manage credit control, customer accounts, reconciliations, escalation of issues, claims management, work with AR and sales teams to resolve any discrepancies
- Other ad hoc tasks
We are seeking experienced shared services candidates with a passion for process improvement and change management. Key competencies listed below:
- Extensive experience in Shared Services or Finance Operations (in particular PTP, OTC and credit control)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
- Analytical mindset
- Strategic leadership
