For our Department Digital-Security , we are looking for a (Senior) Business Continuity Manager (f/m/d). The position is based at our Headquarters in Heidelberg, Germany, and reports to the position Lead Business Continuity Manager.
- Conducting Risk Assessments and Business Impact Analyses to identify critical services and dependencies.
- Supporting departments and sites in designing, maintaining, and continuously improving Business and IT Service Continuity Plans to ensure minimal disruption to business operations during emergencies.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to test and refine Continuity Plans through regular drills and simulations.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to Business and IT Service Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
- Supporting Disaster Recovery and Crisis Management Teams during disruptive incidents.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (> 5 years) in IT Service Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Information Security, or Risk Management within a corporate environment or the public sector (operational experience in Emergency Services or Crisis Management Teams is a plus).
- Strong understanding of relevant standards and regulations related to Business Continuity and Information Security (including NIS-2, NIST, ITIL, ISO 22301, ISO 27031, BSI 200-4 etc.).
- Experience in utilizing generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) tools to enhance productivity (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI/ChatGPT).
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations, including emergencies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in both English and German (minimum C1).
