We are seeking an R2R Senior Manager/Director to join our Shared Services Center in Bristol. This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end financial close process, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting continuous process improvements.

Month-End & Year-End Close:

  • Execute month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS/GAAP standards.

General Ledger & Accounting:

  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper classification of financial transactions.
  • Reconcile key balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations.

Compliance & Controls:

  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, SOX controls, and external regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation.

Process Improvements & Automation:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency in the R2R process through automation and standardization.
  • Support system enhancements and participate in finance transformation initiatives.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with finance, tax, treasury, and business teams to provide financial insights.
  • Coordinate with shared services teams across geographies for alignment and best practices.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA/CIMA/CPA preferred).

Experience: 2-5 years in R2R, General Ledger Accounting, or Financial Reporting (preferably in a Shared Services or Global Business Services environment).

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
