Woodinville Whiskey Company is seeking a Accounting Director who is a professional, hardworking leader for a new accounting role supporting both our award-winning distillery in Woodinville, WA as well as future whiskey projects.

The Accounting Director position offers you great experience and a strong compensation and benefits package. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for a host of critical functions.

• Oversee and Direct Accounting process
• Supervise monthly/quarterly Financial Statement reporting
• Elevate tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information
• Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors; Manage preparation and support of all internal and external audits
• Implement Shared Services protocols
• Develop policies in support of future department growth
• Enhance and implement procedures complementing Internal Control objectives
• Calculate inventory cost and drive cost improvements thru analytics
• Assist with ERP implementation
• Dedication to continuously improve the accounting process

• Alcohol manufacturing & inventory cost accounting experience
• 4-year degree or higher in Accounting, CPA preferred ERP Experience
• Advanced level computer skills, particularly Excel
• Attention to detail, and capable of performing complex reconciliations
