WSP is currently initiating a search for a Business Process Excellence Leader for the WSP Global Oracle Center of Excellence.
Join the Horizon team, a world class group designing and implementing a state-of-the-art global business platform with a focus on the impacts to Global Business Services (GBS) processes. Apply best practices, automation, and process improvements, while capitalizing on delivered Oracle Fusion functionality and meeting the Horizon Program timeline.
This role is eligible to be supported remotely or from any WSP USA office location.
- Understand GBS processes, current, and future (short term and long term)
- Understand the functionality being delivered as part of Release 2 (R2) and future Horizon releases that impact GBS processes
- Identify and recommend new/modified GBS processes and procedures that blend the Horizon R2 functionality to the current GBS processes (or new/updated GBS processes that will be in place at R2 Go-Live)
- Balance providing new/updated GBS functionality, while also delivering Horizon R2 on time
- Coordinate with Horizon teams (Functional, Development, QA, OCM, etc.) as needed to ensure needed Oracle Fusion functionality is delivered on time for the GBS team
- Coordinate with GBS Leadership and Horizon teams to facilitate change management and training for the GBS team
- Identify opportunities for process harmonisation across regions and work with Horizon OCM team to facilitate implementation
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology/computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology, in a global enterprise
- 5+ years of experience working in IT Service Management for global applications
- A keen desire to make a difference and be part of a team delivering the future.
- A drive to take action: the right thing, at the right time, for the right reason.
- Experience as a user of Oracle Projects (PPM) and/or Finance (AP, AR, GL).
- Prior experience as a system implementation team member.
- Experience with current WSP processes and procedures.
- Experience working in a GBS environment.
