The person responsible for this role will be the leader of our shared service organization in the UK and will partner with multiple business areas with unique business models while supporting them in achieving their ambitious goals by managing the finance shared services.  This includes the production of periodic financial and tax reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial and tax results, manage the cash in coordination with Group Treasury and ensure that reported results comply with local GAAP and international financial reporting standards. This role will require strategic leadership to identify and define a shared service function, implementing adequate processes to successfully manage the continued implementation of SAP S4 Hana and lead the complex Finance shared services. This person will also manage the AR and AP team in addition to the management of the accounting team.  This is a demanding role in a fast-paced environment.  The right person for this role is enthusiastic about building, developing, and leading a team, understanding different business models, and enjoys partnering across functions.

• Own, lead, develop, and support a Finance department within a complex structure with multiple business areas, which will grow and go through several acquisitions and mergers.
• Manage and deliver all reporting activities including management, regulatory, tax and statutory reporting.
• Responsible for all internal and external audits.
• Continuous improvement of SAP S4 Hana liaising with external contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization of processes, policies and controls and implement best practices within Management Accounting team, AP team and AR team and ensuring accurate data in the systems.

• At least 15 years’ experience within a seniority role within the Finance function
• Member of a recognised UK accounting body, ACA, ACMA or ACCA – Certified Public Accountant desired.
• Proven record to lead a finance shared services.
• A proven track record of understanding & presenting complex financial information, together with preparing, monitoring and reviewing financial plans.
• Strong core accounting and internal control experience
• Track record of partnering with and influencing executives on strategy and product initiatives.  Articulate with conviction with the ability to gain organizational buy-in and effectively accelerate and implement transformation plans
• Self-driven individual with proven track record working in high-growth fast-paced environment and navigates well in global, shared services organizations
• Clear, concise oral and written English communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within an organization
• Must have a strong desire to succeed in a very dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is a must – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Experience with SAP S4/HANA is a significant plus
