Qvest is seeking for a controller that is either an accounting manager currently and is looking for that next step in their career, or a controller that has less than 5 years experience in the role and is missing some of the more complex controller areas of experience. These include due diligence, multi-entity, system implementations and global accounting transactions.

• In-Depth Understanding of Complex Accounting

• Manage all areas of the accounting department and have an in-depth understanding of best practices
• AP (A-Z oversight from vendor setup to expense reimbursements to check runs, 1099 filings, etc.)
• AR (A-Z oversight from customer setup to collections to EDI platform management, etc.)
• Month End Close Activities
• Annual Financial Statement Audit
• Insurance Renewals and Audits
• Taxes (Income, Franchise, Nexus, Sales/Use, PPT, etc.)
• Government Filings (Business Licenses, Surveys, etc.)
• General Oversight/Understanding of Process
• Name Change Process
• Bank or CC Change
• Areas of Potential Growth
• Multi-Entity Management
• Due Diligence
• Acquisitions
• Payroll Vendor Integration
• ERP Integration
• Shared Services Setup
• Global accounting transactions & exposure

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Big 4 or Public CPA Firm Experience
• CPA License
• Experience: 5+ years in accounting
• Highly detail oriented
• Highly experienced in excel

• Prior experience with Quickbooks
• Prior experience with Expensify
