Our US Global Freight Services division is seeking a Senior Manager – Finance & Accounting to join our team!

• Lead the finance team as a key business partner providing financial planning, business analyses, commercial support and advice to the US Global Freight Business Unit and Corporate Office
• Manage the accounting and shared service team on full accounting functions to support daily business operations and ensure accurate financial results are presented in the management and statutory accounts
• Provide monthly reports and analyses on a timely basis to support management decisions and satisfy corporate requirements
• Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process in collaboration with country BU management and provide analyses for presentation to corporate management
• Monitor working capital and credit control to ensure business risks within corporate policy
• Improve process compliance, productivity and internal controls including systems enhancement projects
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by senior management

• Accounting degree or AICPA equivalent professional qualification
• 8 years’ financial experience of which 5 years controllership role with offshore team management experience
• Freight forwarding business experience and CargoWise system working knowledge preferred
• Experience in developing and working with reporting tools and database an extra credit
• Strong commercial acumen, hands-on manager with excellent communication and people skills
• Robust and able to handle multiple demands of internal stakeholders (country, regional, corporate)
• A team player able to lead and coach the team to deliver high quality results within timelines
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability in a multiple system developing environment
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Manager – Finance & Accounting
