As Transurban grows, there is an ongoing need for People and Culture (P&C) to build end-to-end processes that support our people and underpin our strategic ambitions. The Head of People Experience and Change will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering the overall people experience, P&C operations service delivery and facilitating successful organisation change initiatives. The Head of People Experience will lead the maturation and uplift of shared service operations through technology and process improvements. As well as delivering operational excellence through data analytics, insights and continuous listening strategies.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Lead and be accountable for the efficient and effective delivery of a portfolio of shared service functions.
- Design and implement programs and initiatives to enhance the overall operational people experience, with a key focus on digital experience and on demand services.
- Lead operational excellence by developing and implementing strategies to optimise delivery of shared services to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Manage organisational change for Transurban by establishing effective change management practices and influencing the quality of appropriate change management.
- Balance a continuous improvement program of work and provide thought leadership, advice and recommendations to drive critical decisions to support the strategic intent of digital solutions.
- Track, monitor and oversee all shared service audit requirements and escalate any business risk where appropriate.
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
- Extensive experience delivering operational excellence with the ability to manage effective operations, deliver requirements, and structure reporting in a way to get meaningful insights.
- A well rounded leader with the full remit of leadership capability. Proven capability in managing teams and key stakeholders as well as being a thought leader and leading an environment of change and capability maturation.
- Versatile knowledge and work experience within HR / P&C Operations is a must, with experience using a HRIS and a workflow automation platform, preferably WorkDay and ServiceNow.
- Experience in managing large projects that involve organisation wide change management, while also leading and transforming teams to deliver an exceptional people experience and optimal people services.
- Skills in critical thinking, analytical ability and problem solving, with the ability to overlay commercial acumen to decisions and recommendations.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, provide purpose and develop high performing teams.
- A growth mindset – you won’t be afraid to challenge the status quo, helping to problem solve through your persistence, passion and the ability to influence and negotiate within an ambiguous and changing environment.
If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.
