Given the carve-out and the new strategic journey, ofi is keen to recruit senior Technology leadership with transformation credentials who can play a critical role in driving the IT and digital agenda within the company working in partnership with the business to facilitate, educate, challenge, and help create a technology focus that accelerates ofi’s growth through innovation strategy.

ofi is looking to the future, driving the next wave of value creation across the organization, and specifically how best to define and embed an IT and digital strategy that can have a tangible impact on the organization including farmers, suppliers, communities, and customers, with a core focus on traceability and sustainability.

About the Role: Information Security Manager

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, the Information Security Manager oversees cyber security operations, continuous monitoring, security information and event management, security architecture, security engineering, vulnerability scanning, endpoint security, security analytics, network access control, penetration testing, data forensics, security data ingestion, and analysis, incident analysis, threat monitoring/hunt and security situational awareness.

  • Supervise security monitoring operations and manage vulnerability and threat assessments, network access control, incident response, and maintenance
  • Gather and report on security metrics that demonstrate the relative cost/benefit of the security operations and other cybersecurity initiatives
  • Manage cyber situational awareness of the cyber threat landscape and maintain threat monitoring services
  • Ensure cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards documentation is accurate, current, and relevant
  • Meet security audit mandates, standards, and requirements
  • Effectively manage, monitor, and communicate enterprise security risk by maintaining visibility across the agency’s enterprise
  • Reduce cost and optimize enterprise cybersecurity posture through efficiencies, reciprocity, security shared services, and automation
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external key stakeholders
  • BS in Computer Science, Information Security, IT Management or related field
  • 12 to 15 years of experience in Information Security and/or risk management, inclusive of experience with security principles, and in-depth defence techniques
  • Minimum of 2 years in an information technology leadership role
  • Experience in domains of DNS, network routing, authentication, VPN, proxy services, cloud, and DDOS mitigation technologies
  • Requires strong analytical, and problem-solving abilities to prevent, identify and assess security risks
  • Proven experience managing and designing innovative integration of cybersecurity toolsets to enable automated discovery, remediation and alerting of technology vulnerabilities
  • Role requires effective communication, business and organizational intelligence, interpersonal skills and presentation skills, and the ability to make timely decisions based on sound judgment
  • Track record of developing and deploying appropriate countermeasures as needed
  • Ability to stay current with new security technologies and threats, and to adapt to changing security requirements
