We are looking for an individual to take on the role of Head of Accounting in a rapidly growing Shared Service Centre. The candidate must have extensive experience in accounting and finance and have a proactive approach.
Client Details
We are recruiting for one of our Clients from Katowice, which is expanding its SSC structure.
- Lead the Accounting team (up to 10 people) to optimize productivity.
- Process general ledger for Group companies and post journals when necessary.
- Oversee purchase ledger, including GRNI, for prompt query resolution.
- Manage sales ledger to ensure prompt invoicing and cash receipt.
- Integrate Group transactional activity into the Shared Service Centre.
- Supervise the local Polish entity, including cash reporting and statutory compliance.
- Lead projects, promote open communication, and support team development in the finance function.
- Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience
- Extensive technical accounting knowledge
- Ability to manage a team
