Strategic
- Build and lead the HR Shared services business process management organization: Responsible for providing centralized and standardized services to multiple customers, business units or divisions.
- Developing and implementing processes and procedures to standardize and streamline HR functions.
- Leading a team of HR professionals to ensure that services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborating with other leaders in the organization to align shared services efforts with overall business objectives.
- Managing and analyzing data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement and to develop action plans for addressing them.
- Developing and maintaining performance metrics and reporting systems to track progress and measure the impact of shared services initiatives.
- Building a culture of continuous improvement by promoting a strong sense of ownership and accountability among employees.
- Identifying and managing risks associated with shared services initiatives and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Communicating progress, results and driving a sense of urgency and alignment with the organization.
- Continuously seeking feedback and opportunities for improvement and adapting the strategy accordingly.
Leadership
- Attract, retain, and develop world HR business process management talent.
- Promote and foster an organizational culture that is innovative, agile, flexible, and aligned to the mission and values of the organization
- Providing coaching and training to employees on shared services best practices and tools.
- Building and maintaining relationships with the stakeholders to ensure that the services delivered meet their expectations.
- Keeping the team updated with the new laws and regulations related to the HR and finance functions.
- Ensure data quality and security across the enterprise including external data.
- Experience in People leadership handling large teams, complex transformation and successful in building and growing teams
- Managing the budget and resources of the shared services business process management organization to achieve optimal results.
- Manage performance with respect to budget, objectives, and customer expectations as required to meet operational, quality, and mission goals.
- Bachelors/ MBA with specialization in HR
- 12 – 15 years of experience in HR domain, business process management, automation, and HR analytics
- Strong HR domain expertise: Deep understanding of various HR domains, such as talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll, and benefits administration, to be able to design and implement efficient and effective HR processes.
- Experience in hiring, building, and managing teams.
- Demonstrable experience in implementing digital tools and technologies to drive process efficiency and enable a digitally enabled shared services organization.
- Experience in incubating, creating and successfully executing strategic plans with an ability to interact, influence and communicate at all levels of an organization with an ability to manage shifting priorities would be critical for the success in this position
- Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a diverse team of HR professionals.
- High visibility throughout the organization with an approachable, personal, charismatic, and optimistic demeanor
- Detailed oriented leader with a project management mindset and the ability to see the big picture and think strategically combined with a deep understanding of day-to-day operations
- Strong communicator with high emotional intelligence, that builds relationships and trust and collaborates with all stakeholders.
- Understands their role as a Talent Steward and has a successful track record of developing, coaching, and growing their team
- Change Management: Should have excellent change management skills, as building a shared services organization would involve significant organizational change and requires buy-in from various stakeholders.
- Cultural sensitivity: Should have a deep understanding of cultural differences between India and the US and be able to bridge any communication or cultural gaps that may arise
