The Sr. Director of Global Infrastructure Business & Delivery Services is a key role within the GXO Global Infrastructure organization. As a senior leader reporting to the SVP of Global Technology Infrastructure, you will have the responsibility of driving and leading all infrastructure key business initiatives and major infrastructure project efforts across the entire GXO global enterprise, working closely with your peers. You will lead the execution of global plans and related initiatives across the entire global Infrastructure organization with regards to project and required business activities, ensuring good communication and collaboration across our teams leading to successful outcomes. You will have strong project management skills, business and financial acumen, collaboration skills, and excellent organizational skills. Further, past experience with Outsourcing transition activities is required.

• Build the global Infrastructure Business & Delivery Services strategy for the enterprise, in alignment with IT and business priorities
• Build strong working relationships with technology and business partners to deliver on the strategy
• Build and lead a high performing team and service across the globe.
• Lead key strategic initiatives and other efforts across all the Infrastructure towers.
• Establish procedures, practices, KPIs and reporting schedules to ensure on time delivery
• Drive major Infrastructure projects and initiatives, leading a team of other business and delivery team members.
• Manage and lead business and technical activities across the Infrastructure organization.
• Drive Outsourcing initiatives across the entire Infrastructure landscape. Assisting with requirements gathering, SLA and KPI metrics, transition planning, contractual input, and other activities involved with preparing for the transition of services to a Provider.
• Establish and builds a culture of good project management and other reporting practices to ensure Infrastructure services are well represented and held accountable.
• Plan, manage, and deliver on assigned major Infrastructure initiatives on time, on budget.
• Develop and deploy best in class procedures & practices across Infrastructure towers and organize within easy to use repository(s) for reuse.
• Coordinate Internal Audit activities and Controls examinations as required across all Infrastructure Towers.

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or related field and significant
• Previous experience where remit spans beyond local borders, within a geographically dispersed organization.
• At least 7-8 years of experience in managing large global Infrastructure initiatives, teams and projects.
• 8+ years working in a global company
• Past experience running complex infrastructure projects or similar programs across multiple teams
• Proven ability to manage and collaborate across multiple teams and vendors
• Good knowledge and/or experience a plus with cloud-based technologies, legacy technologies and infrastructure transformation to cloud.
• Excellent business acumen, presence, project management, presentation, and organizational skills
• Experience leading and driving Infrastructure multi-team efforts
• Experience with Outsource transition activities/ efforts from requirements, assessing, contract, transition, to Run’.
• Strong background and experience working in an IT Infrastructure organization in a similar capacity as this role.
• Proven track record of delivering on major Infrastructure initiatives.
• Experience coordinating and driving Infrastructure teams to complete required business efforts as required.
• Experience driving wide scoping change initiatives
• Ability to drive the team capacity and the agenda to deliver the proper IT solutions on time with high level of quality and performance.
