We seek a Controller to join Control Risks’ Finance team to lead and manage our Shared Service Center (SSC) for our LATAM countries, as well as performing the role of Finance Controller for Mexico.

This person will manage the following operational accounting functions for multiple countries from the SSC:

• General Accounting, including Month End and Quarter End
• Financial reporting aligned with our local, regional, and global timetables and processes.
• Ability to analyze and comment around financial performance.
• Production of statutory accounts and tax filings
• Manage an effective Controls Framework, including balance sheet reconciliations, controls checklist and relevant reviews.
• Lead Accounts Payable activities, including Travel & Expenses
• Lead Accounts Receivable activities
• Deliver an effective Cash management operation.
• Always ensure Tax compliance.
• Provide and realize Continuous Improvement opportunities.
• Ensure continuity of services is always effective.
• Closely working with country financial controllers and local Mexico Leadership Team
• Manage, motivate, and develop high-performing team.

• 10+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with MX and US accounting.
• Must have experience with monthly financial close and financial reporting.
• Previous work in a Shared Service Center, international and/or professional services firm.
• IFRS or US GAAP experience desired
• US tax experience desired
• Mexico or US certified accountant.
• Finance or Accounting Education.
• Fluent English and Spanish with good communication skills.
• Systems experience with Microsoft D365 F&O.
• Experienced with Excel and PowerPivot.
