We are looking to recruit a A2R Process Owner who will be responsible for establishing and driving the global strategy for the Bodycote A2R Process with the goal of realising efficiencies, higher accuracy, enhanced controls & continuous improvement. The A2R Process Owner will help define the Bodycote standards for the process, establish KPIs, and drive continuous improvement. The candidate will ensure efforts are optimised across the end-to-end A2R process, including upstream functions like Tax/Statutory 7 Treasury, Group Finance as well as the Business. The A2R Process Owner will ensure that all key stakeholders & decision makers within Finance, Group Finance and Production are appropriately engaged.
- Define Process Taxonomy for complete SSC set of processes, including other organisations (Tax, Statutory, GF, Business…) with other process owners. Understand the big picture end-to-end processes.
- Map current processes to the taxonomy and drive process standardisation across geographies. Give more visibility to all Finance, and Business.
- Define and maintain the process and control standards documentation for A2R processes including building process level controls.
- Analyse, implement, and update processes to ensure company goals are met.
- Analyse the effectiveness of current process based on agreed KPI performance to improve effectiveness, empower End Users in continuous improvement.
- Consistently evaluate processes to ensure business is operating in compliant and efficient manner.
- Identifies opportunities for A2R automation, and works with automation team in delivery.
- Understand business needs and the ability to articulate those needs to the processes.
- Owns process policy and documentation.
- Interacts with Group Finance for specific policy/process changes.
- Participate in overall initiatives relating to ERP Central Finance as far as it relates to A2R.
- Facilitate new country migrations in the SSC.
- As a Subject Matter Expert, trains new joiners in the team.
Education/Qualifications
- Graduate calibre
- Strong knowledge in IFRS, Local Gaap, FA
- Strong Knowledge of business processes, tools: Excel, Visio…
- Experience in reporting solutions like PBI, Alteryx are an added plus.
- SAP, AX, Hyperion environment experience are an added plus.
Experience, Knowledge And Skills
- 4-6 years of A2R process knowledge.
- Direct experience working in Shared Services space is preferred with global exposure (understanding of regional level nuances).
- Ability to influence, persuade leaders and end users.
- Dynamic, enthusiastic, collaborative able to drive changes and continuous improvement.
- Ability to analyse and solve problems.
- Ability to Conducts surveys, makes improvements, and creates reports.
- Presentation/communication skills.
- Prior experience in transformational projects or enterprise wide change initiatives.
- Exposure to latest trends in transformation, automation, an advantage.
- Proficient English, any other European language an advantage.
