An exciting Head of SSC job has just become available at one of the retail firms based in Kuala Lumpur. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be a part of the dynamic team.
About The Head Of SSC Role
In this position, you will be providing stewardship and operational leadership to the SSC to align all business strategies and objectives.
- Set up shared services – Lead and implement the centralisation of P2P, O2C, R2R activities. Design and implement standardised SOPs for each function
- Closely collaborate with the transformation team to automate processes for smooth migration of functions, i.e. standardising/harmonising process and improves data accuracy, and developing SLAs for local leads
- Design KPIs/balance scorecard to measure the performance of each function
- Set up of new internal control system and developing authorisation matrix
- Onboard suitable candidates for each function
- Provide commercial advice relating to business strategies
- Provide financial analysis and financial modelling to support business objectives, where appropriate
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as process re-engineering, headcount utilisation review, staff force remapping and digitisation improvement alongside COO (OCR RPA, AI, business process change, etc.)
To succeed in the Head of SSC role, you will need to have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- University graduate or possess CIMA, CPA, ICAEW or ACCA qualification
- At least 12 years of relevant work experience
- Good understanding of industry and processes
- Prior experience in setting up SSC
- Good interpersonal, leadership and teamwork skills
- Able to build rapport and work with multinational stakeholders
- Strong commercial and process acumen
