The role is to lead the financial planning of NEOM Airline in close collaboration with the NEOM finance department.
- Creates the business case for the airline.
- Collaborates with Corporate Finance to develop and deliver the funding strategy
- Manages the set-up, develops/communicates quality standards, and independently oversees the day-to-day activities delivered by the Shared Services Center to the airline
- Establishes and updates the consolidated risk register and mitigation measures
- Produces consolidated executive reports, showing a clear picture of the entirety of the airline within the asset portfolio, highlighting all critical issues, recommending actions and measures
- Supports the airline team in negotiating operating and commercial agreements, and in developing a strong brand and customer journey
- Manages, coaches, conducts performance evaluations and promotes an overall positive and creative team environment
- Works closely with the central finance teams to ensure aligned financial planning and implementation across regions
- +10 years of experience in directing functions such as financial planning, contracts/procurement and project management, shared services integration, debt and capital raise
- Experience in the airline sector preferred
- Ability to undertake strategic thinking and application in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
- Ability to work independently and proactively while simultaneously leading and managing a wide number of ongoing projects
- Ability to streamline and implement new processes and procedures
- Leadership skills to set clear goals, motivate a team and produce superior results under challenging schedules.
- Completed bachelor’s degree / University graduate in a relevant discipline
- Master’s degree in business administration/finance or similar is highly desirable
