We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our fantastic People & Culture Team as a Head of Delivery, overseeing the efficient and effective delivery of a People & Culture (P&C) shared service across both PGL Centres and Support Centres.

In this role you will be responsible for the strategic direction of this newly formed function with the overall aim to optimise service delivery, cost effectiveness and process improvements.

In addition you will also be responsible for forming the team through centralising a new reporting line for existing colleagues, setting performance metrics and ensuring alignment across all P&C processes.

Your leadership will help drive operational excellence and enhance the overall service for internal stakeholders.

In this role, you’ll be supporting the Group People & Culture Director in a wide range of duties including:

  • Developing and executing the strategy to deliver high-quality P&C shared services
  • Establishing a culture of continuous improvement
  • Driving organizational change by introducing new technologies, processes, and best practices
  • Ensuring consistent and superior service delivery by establishing and monitoring performance metrics, service level agreements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Leading and managing teams responsible for various shared service functions
  • Providing regular reports and updates to senior leadership

We are seeking a candidate with a specialist HR qualification or equivalent professional knowledge gained through significant related experience, who can demonstrate leading edge knowledge of theory and good practise in HR.

In addition the candidate should be able to demonstrate:

  • A successful track record of working across a large, complex business reviewing process; driving and supporting organisational change; and building and sustaining relationships to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Experience of, and commitment to continuous organisational improvement and the ability to act as a change agent.
  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Effective planning and project management skills
  • Proven ability to analyse gap between current and future state and development of a plan to bridge the gap
  • The ability to accurately describe and measure ROI.
