We are currently seeking an accomplished Finance Director to play a pivotal role in our corporate strategy and financial management. As a key leader, you will be entrusted with overseeing a substantial team of 200, multi-functional and culturally diverse staff. Your expertise will be critical in managing all aspects of finance, including our extensive shared services center. Our subsidiary also holds the esteemed status of an approved ICAEW training center, where you will contribute significantly to nurturing the next generation of Saudi finance professionals.
Reporting into the Group Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Director will have the following purpose, accountabilities & responsibilities:
Primary Purpose:
- For planning, implementing, managing and controlling all finance related activities of the Company
- Acting as a Business Partner with the Divisional Directors and Executive Management,
- Key member of the Company’s management and the Centre of Excellence for decision support, including evaluation of risk, and plans for continued growth and development of the Company.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Leadership of the company finance function.
- Leading the relationship with our banking partners
- Review potential acquisitions from a financial and strategic perspective.
- Leading major credit deal execution,
- Overall responsibility for managing the Company cash flows.
- Maintaining internal controls at the highest level and dealing with auditors.
- Reaffirm the training and development culture within the department, specifically the plans for growth of Saudi nationals, to move to management roles within the team.
You will be an accomplished, senior Finance Executive and will have gained experience working for a leading international commercial organisation of commensurate size and scale.
Further requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills, first class relationship building and management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Leadership and management experience in large size finance teams across organizations.
- Your leadership style should inspire and motivate, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork within the finance department.
- Bachelor’s degree and a professional accounting qualification, e.g, ACA, ACMA
- Minimum, ten years post qualification experience with a large USD 500m+ corporate.
- Experience working for a leading Audit firm, will be highly advantageous.
