The Director of Information Technology will manage and direct the company’s information technology (IT) operations, ensuring the department provides efficient and effective technical support services. The Director of IT is responsible for planning, designing, developing, and implementing an IT strategy that meets the company’s business needs, delivers optimal return on investment and security for Franklin Mountain Management LLC.
- Ensure that IT and network infrastructure adequately support the company’s computing, data processing, and communications needs.
- Direct and oversee the IT department’s budgetary and financial activities.
- Oversee contract negotiations with technology vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Collaborate with members of the executive team to identify ways IT can assist the company in achieving business and financial goals.
- Meet with the executive team to review IT operations, discuss new projects, and detail costs, value and risk potential of existing operations and new initiatives.
- Develop and implement department goals and strategies in line with the organization and ensure IT provides the appropriate support at all levels of the organization.
- Manage IT goals, projects, and timelines for the organization.
- Identify long-term Information Security needs, establish a plan, and develop strategies to enhance systems and acquire the software and hardware necessary to meet those needs.
- Remain current on leading edge technology for IT systems and Cybersecurity and make appropriate recommendations for an organization.
- Create and implement IT policies, protocols, standards, and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Technology required.
- A Bachelor’s degree with applicable experience in an IT director-level position will be considered.
- Advanced knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in complex business and technology environments with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience with software and data architecture.
- Proven ability and track record of successfully managing and developing talent.
- Experience with a shared services business model.
- Strong problem solver with an innovative approach
- Experience implementing and operating Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with integration across multiple point solutions.
- Experience with data visualization, analytic tools, reporting and dashboarding, cloud-based data platforms a plus.
