We seek to hire Head of Business Operations Shared Services to join our leadership team at Tek Experts. This role will be responsible for the strategic roadmap for these functions, as it relates to Tek Experts, whilst driving operational excellence and efficiency to quickly and deploy agile service delivery to our clients. This needs to be delivered through both directly reporting teams and matrixed teams.
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Client Delivery Leads, and Country Managers to lead our shared services teams through the transformation needed to deliver significant growth.
- Provide visionary leadership to set the long-term strategic direction that delivers a global scope that can scale across new territories, new clients, and new service lines.
- Foster a service-oriented mindset and facilitate collaboration with other teams to support a cohesive business strategy.
- Drive operational excellence through processes that enhance the agility and performance of the organization, with strong project execution.
- Role model our leadership competencies, ensuring high employee engagement and overall workforce effectiveness.
- Provide data-driven insights and information to the executive team, aiding in complex decision-making through robust analysis, synthesis, and interpretation of data and trends.
- Champion effective communication in a matrixed organization ensuring thorough alignment of business direction.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as economics, accounting, finance, business administration, information systems, technology, or engineering.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible work experience within an IT and service environment.
- Demonstrated experience of managing and delivering across shared services activities, such as Quality Assurance, Workforce Management/Planning, Operational/Process Excellence, and other supporting operational functions within a global environment.
- Proven record of building and leading high-performing teams in a matrixed organization, creating a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement to exceed expectations.
- Strong strategic planning skills with a history of setting and achieving ambitious targets.
- Exceptional communication and people skills to collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.
- A growth and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to think systematically and innovatively.
- Experience in successfully leading and navigating organizational change and driving process optimization.
- Results-driven attitude with the ability to balance big-picture thinking, understanding the key priorities for focus.
