The Vice President of Information Technology is responsible for leading the development and execution of Information System strategies for Innovista Health Solutions. This position will contribute to the service design for the organization’s products, and direct the implementation of business processes, IT development and human capital initiatives. As the VP of Information Technology, you are responsible for overseeing the planning, development, implementation, maintenance and security of the company’s information systems and processes including computer, communication, and office systems. The position also contributes to IT and Operations vendor negotiations/relationships and consults on the operational functionality of all Innovista systems and platforms.
- Work closely with the CPO and market leaders to understand the service requirements of customers and other key stakeholders and deliver IT strategies & solutions to meet or exceed expectations.
- Lead long term strategic planning / development of the IHS technology and operational functions.
- Serve as the senior leader for all aspects of the IT and operations organization of IHS.
- Participate in setting the strategic direction for IHSs IT operations.
- Represent executive leadership in vendor negotiations.
- Accountable for the strategy and leadership of Innovista’s systems and platforms
- Participate with senior management in planning, product development etc.
- Facilitates preparation of project plans and proposals, outlining project objectives, IS requirements and analytical programming staffing requirements for proposed systems.
- Assure a strong control environment for both operations and IT services that meet MAR process and other control standards established by HCSC.
- Maintains pace with technological progress, economic change, and company needs by directing continual improvements of IS staff, equipment, and procedures.
- Ensures the integrity and reliability of computerized information systems, communication systems, and office systems, including the security of data acquired and stored.
- Identifies and recommends new technologies and services that will improve the efficiency, process, and operations; reviews request for additional services and upgrades, assessing the cost and benefits to the organization.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical role required, with significant leadership experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with IT systems and IT management at a senior level.
- Ability to work with organizational structures and provide support for organizational process change.
- Financial and statistical analytical skills, database development/maintenance skills, and knowledge of computer systems/software applications required.
