- Reporting to the Asia Head of HR
- Collaborate with the practice group and business services team leaders to provide expertise and advice on HR-related matters with reference to the firm’s policies and practices as well as legislative requirements.
- Proactive monitoring of business performance, initiating discussions with partners about HR actions when necessary.
- Develop and sustain strong business relationships with the PG/ BS departments as a trusted advisor and coach to the partners /BS leadership community.
- Drive and implement change programs, HR policies and processes.
- Lead discussions in respect of team structure, talent development and succession planning.
- Work closely with Centre of Expertise and HR Operations team and other HR team members around the globe to ensure a globally consistent and effective approach.
- Challenge and influence partners/ BS leaders on the culture, values and working practices that are aligned with the firm’s values and objectives.
- Lead annual appraisal process, salary review and bonus allocations in Asia
- Chair salary and bonus review meetings with regional and local leaders.
- Advise the appraisal and salary review process.
- Challenge and seek approvals on exceptional salary and bonus arrangements.
- Seamless communication and coordination with relevant HR team members within and

- Work closely with Legal Services Manager to manage the restructuring of the secretarial team and set up the Assistant Centre (shared services centre).

- IT department in Asia and the transfer of employees to a third-party IT service provider.
- At least 10 years HRBP experience from a leading law, professional services for financial services firm
- Chinese language skills
