Serves as a technical resource and advisor for all company systems. Based out of our Irving, TX Corporate Office, the Director of Information Technology will manage and direct the company’s information technology (IT) operations, ensuring the department provides efficient and effective technical support service.

In collaboration with Senior corporate management, this position will set the IT objectives and execute and direct the company’s strategic and operational IT plans. Aside from a strong technological background, the ideal candidate will possess an enthusiastic commitment to delivering world-class technology solutions while providing the highest level of customer service with a dedication to consumer advocacy.

  • Ensure all technologies are proactively maintained and work reliably 24/7 at properties, corporate and remote work.
  • Responsible for aligning business objectives with property leaders and corporate management, serving as the point of contact and escalation for IT issues that may affect the company.
  • Maintains partnerships with third-party IT support services for ensuring security settings and access permissions are assigned and followed.
  • Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
  • Manages PCI Compliance (assessment, remediation, implementation, management) consistent with industry best practices.
  • Maintains strict privacy when handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Implements and audits security configurations and protocols.
  • Communicates and collaborates with all departments to troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and operational issues, escalating to third-party IT support services as needed.
  • Ability to explain highly technical information to both technically savvy and non-technical users with the ability to diffuse anger, frustrations, or dissatisfaction with systems and IT related issues.
  • Leads the strategic direction of IT through analysis of infrastructure and systems performance, assessing operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
  • Develops and implements processes for the company’s IT systems.
  • Provides support for enterprise deployments of new technology solutions and systems.
  • Develops and implements business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.
  • Establishes efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT infrastructure.
  • Develops and maintains productive relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in IT at a senior leadership level within a multi-location, multi-state hospitality or service industry organization.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
  • Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
  • Prioritize and organize while managing multiple, critically important and time-sensitive tasks simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of industry tools such as hotel PMS systems, restaurant POS systems, and other related tools and systems.
  • Proven track record of meeting operating budgets and successfully managing labor and cost of goods.
  • Experience supporting computers (MAC and PC) in a networked environment, Windows Services, Cloud technology, Web applications and SaaS, e-mail systems, antivirus, etc.
  • SAN and enterprise storage knowledge. Local Area Network (LAN) fundamentals, topologies, and remote access troubleshooting. Knowledge of Network Interface (NIC) Cards, switches and cabling; fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment in a networked environment.
  • VoIP and Analog voice communication systems.
  • Understanding of OSI Model.
  • Commonly used software systems such as Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, Outlook, Visio and Project).
