This is a Fixed Term Full Time appointment for up to 5 years.
We are seeking an outstanding and committed candidate for the position of Executive Director, Transformation & Strategy.
As a member of the HSS Executive team, reporting to the Chief Executive, this role is responsible for leading multiple functions including Strategy, Transformation, Change Management, and the Portfolio Management Office. The WA health system is currently experiencing one of its most challenging and transformative times, and the work of the Transformation and Strategy Business Unit is dynamic, fast-paced, and creative.
- Lead a passionate, multi-disciplinary and highly talented business unit, with a focus on working across HSS to develop innovative strategies and offer expertise that ensures the organisation drives and delivers optimal customer experience.
- Lead organisational strategic planning for HSS in partnership with the HSS Board and Executive Team.
- Develop and drive a transformation program that creates an atmosphere of excellence and excitement as it delivers the outcomes associated with the HSS Strategic Plan.
- Lead the Change Management centre of excellence providing services across all the major programs and projects HSS is implementing.
- Lead the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office helping to drive effective planning and delivery of organisational programs and projects.
- Develop the Transformation and Strategy culture to ensure the business unit performs at an outstanding level and delivers on its objectives and outcomes.
- Work collaboratively and collegiately with the HSS Executive team and ensure productive relationships are developed and maintained throughout the Transformation and Strategy business unit and across the organisation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with a demonstrable, successful track record in leading transformation portfolios across the public and/or private sectors. Experience should include strategy development and execution, process improvement, organisational design, portfolio management, program/project delivery and change management.
As a key member of HSS’ executive leadership team, the successful candidate will also play a role in creating a high-performing and modern shared services organisation, to support our customers to deliver excellent healthcare.
