About the function-Shared Services Head for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets & Financial Reporting

Purpose of your Role

The FRC Shared Services – Head is a position within Tata Communications, based in the Finance team and reporting to the VP – FR &C. This role leads a large team of finance professionals who would be processing the financial transaction and to maintain SLA with the relevant Functional Head within FRC.

You will be based in Pune and lead all aspects of the Shared Services for the following functions:

Accounts Payable

Accounts Receivable

Fixed Assets

Financial Reporting

A multi-faceted professional, a brilliant communicator and a process oriented persons who would engage with the functional heads within FRC and with external stake holders within Tata Comm & Vendors

Should also be tech savy first to simplify the process without loosing the controls and to drive automation by deploying RPA and other systems.

• SLA for various stake holders both internal and external stake holders
• Should work towards setting up for a shared services unit within FRC
• Should drive productivity within FRC
• Should work towards process simplification, introduction of RPA and rationalisation of process

You have (Qualification and exp)

CA / ICWA / MBA(Finance)

Should be process Champion, six sigma certification would be an added advantage

Should have experience in setting up a Shared services unit and also have worked in a Shared services unit of a large company

Experience in Telecom Indurstry would be added advantage

Experience as a credible and capable adviser at multiple levels of an organisation with strong business acumen together with business and industry experience

Experience in translating and demonstrating the impact of communications initiatives in a wider business context
