For our Client, a global leader among companies dealing with environmental protection and energy-saving solutions, we are looking for a candidate for the position of Head of Finance in GBS. The main task in this function will be to maintain the process and actively participate in business transformations. The company’s headquarters is in Krakow.

• supervise finance departments of Cracow GBS, over 50FTEs to manage (up to 3 direct reports on the manager level), with a focus on long-term talent development,
• plan & lead transformation projects in commercial finance, including team scope expansion to new business,
• act as a partner between Business and Shared Services functions,
• support implementation of process improvement initiatives including process automatization & digitalization,
• provide business partnering with Divisional Leadership to ensure smooth execution of commercial strategies,
• develop the short to mid-term corporation’s financial strategic plans,
• build a deep knowledge & understanding of pricing processes and customer incentive programs to effectively manage commercial finance processes.

• +10 years of experience in finance of international structures, business support, or shared service functions,
• university degree in finance, accounting, or business management,
• knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and International Financial Reporting Standards,
• strategic management experience is crucial to managing an organization’s resources and developing strategies,
• proficiency in English is a must, additional certifications (ACCA, CIMA) would be a plus,
• the ability to foresee all critical factors impacting business situations,
• strong communication skills and self-motivated attitude.
