CG Oncology is a privately held oncolytic immunotherapy company focused on developing bladder-saving therapeutics for patients with bladder cancer. - The incumbent will be responsible for leading and optimizing the function of the company’s new IT Department in alignment with the business objectives of the organization.
- The primary focus will be to plan, coordinate, direct, and design the IT-related activities of the organization, as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operations working cross-functionally and proactively with decision makers to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.
- The role will require a solution-oriented, agile, and technically strong strategic and tactical leader to provide regular communications regarding the planning, design, building and maintenance of a robust IT infrastructure, including IT asset deployment for a growing remote workforce.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Ten (10) years of experience in IT leadership including IT application implementation & management roles responsible for integrated systems within a SOX-regulated environment.
- Progressively responsible management experience in IT roles, including experience aligning business processes with technology to create organizational efficiencies, preferred.
- Experience in the biopharmaceutical/life sciences industry desired in small to medium sized companies.
- Experience with systems administration and security administration.
- Recent experience in management of IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent experience.
- Strong planning and project management skills and ability to apply these skills in effective working partnerships across organizational lines.
- Experience in SOX compliance and adherence to change, access, and SDLC management processes.
- Available for approximately up to 10% travel both domestic and international, including overnight stays.
- Flexible work hours to accommodate meetings in different time zones.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced small company environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities.
