  • Ensures that all activities performed align with the vision of Elara Caring’s board of directors, executive team, and the leadership of the Human Resources Shared People Services team.
  • Defines, develops, and implements initiatives to enhance HR Shared Services’ programs and processes.
  • Manages, trains, develops, and mentors team of HR Shared Services Specialists and Workers Compensation Specialists
  • Develops, maintains, and promotes the Elara Caring employee health and safety vision, objectives, goals, and priorities.
  • Ensures employee incident data is maintained and periodically analyzed to measure program effectiveness and to set priorities and objectives. Uses this data to set and update program priorities.
  • Maintains certain responsibility for claims oversight and strategic collaboration on claims as defined by the General Counsel.
  • Launches and manages initiatives focused on reducing workplace employee injuries and illnesses.
  • Develops, maintains, and rolls out employee health and safety policies, procedures, and training.
  • Reviews and tracks safety training and recommends revisions, improvements, and updates.
  • Oversees the investigation of incidents including but not limited to OSHA recordable incidents, first aids, near misses, and property damage incidents. Reviews all incident investigations to make sure the true root cause is determined, and appropriate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) are identified.
  • Coordinates and prepares OSHA reporting and mandatory yearly Survey of Occupational Injuries and Illness.
  • Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • 8+ years of relevant experience within Human Resources, Shared Services, or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in management of a team
  • Knowledge of HR Shared Services’ methods and practices
  • Proficient with the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience within Home Health, Hospice or Behavioral Health is preferred
  • Experience with Workday is preferred
