A Shared Services Manager needs to expertly lead and manage their teams and is responsible for employee retention and recruitment. They set the tone for all teams, creating a working environment that attracts and fosters employees of the highest caliber. We have services in multiple European countries, etc – need to build complete process
The Shared Services Manager primary responsibility is to oversee the functions of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general administration services. The role is pivotal in the efficient provision of services to Tulip. This will all report into the Controller in the US – but will be localized in Hungary.
- Own (guide/manage/provide backup) for various accounting tasks, including procure to pay, vendor management, managing billing and collections, and fixed asset accounting
- Improve and streamline processes for finance functions and across business
- Manage a team of 3-5 individuals
- Develop and manage SLAs, automation and change management
- Document and update internal controls processes
- Drive a portfolio of diverse projects, building new teams as needed and aligning new operations to company-wide risk and compliance requirements
- 5-7 years of accounting experience
- CPA (US) or Hungarian equivalent
- Experience working with Netsuite is plus
- Experience working with multi-national organizations including working with headquarters in the USA
- Strong understanding of statutory financial reporting requirements in Hungary and other European countries
- Experience working with software companies preferred, although not required
