The Finance Shared Services, Process & Systems Manager at DP World in the Americas region will be responsible for leading and managing strategic projects related to Finance operations and shared services centers, as well as mapping, documenting, and optimizing finance processes for the implementation of Finance Shared Service in the Americas region. This role includes project management, process mapping, process documentation, and process improvement responsibilities. The Finance Shared Service, Process & Systems Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, senior management, and external partners to ensure successful project delivery and drive operational excellence, process optimization, and service delivery within Finance operations.
- Leads and manages strategic projects related to Finance operations and shared services centers, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and closing. Develop project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and create detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful project delivery.
- Leads the mapping and document Finance processes, including process steps, inputs, outputs, and stakeholders, using process mapping techniques and tools. Create process documentation, including process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions. Ensure that process documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with company policies and local laws in conjunction with the Lead of Processes and Policies.
- Lead change management efforts related to project implementations and process improvement initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and adoption strategies. Ensure smooth transition and acceptance of changes within Finance operations, CoE, BU’s and shared services centers.
- Identify process improvement opportunities within Finance operations and shared services centres and develop and implement solutions to optimize operational efficiency, effectiveness, and quality. Drive process standardization, automation, and best practices to enhance HR operations and service delivery in the Americas region.
- Develop and deliver project status reports, metrics, and documentation to senior management and stakeholders. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project and process documentation, including project plans, process maps, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Engineering, Business, or related field of study.
- 10+ years’ experience in similar roles in multinational companies.
- MBA preferred.
- CPA preferred.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Expert ability with Oracle and Excel; experience working with Adaptive Insights is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, process mapping, or HR operations, preferably in a shared services environment.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Strong project management skills, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
- Experience with process mapping techniques and tools, such as Visio or Lucidchart.
- Ability to analyze and optimize finance processes to drive operational efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Proficiency in Oracle is a plus.
- The ability to travel within their BU’s assigned, up to 30% of the time, is required.
