Leads the overall corporate financial strategy and oversees all fiscal and fiduciary operations for a $170M+ growing and evolving multiple service line corporation. Drives and supports the long and short-term business unit leaders’ growth goals that include acquisitions, scalability and risk, operating plans, new and expanded services lines, and organizational development. This highly engaged top tier executive will lead financial and accounting operations comprised of multiple P&Ls and legal entities, complex billings, and multiple CRM and Operating systems. Evolves and innovates account structures, revenue recognition, build incentives plans and optimize corporate performance. Ensures the financial health of all key service and product areas of the business.
- Collaborate with key executives to formulate and monitor strategic financial plans.
- Develop control systems designed to preserve company assets and create real-time reports for detailed and accurate financial results.
- Oversee the issuance of financial data that drives the growth and revenue objectives of the Company and submits data to banks and other stakeholders as required.
- Ensure that all financial reporting meets the requirement of auditors and GAAP.
- Facilitate and maintain healthy relationships with internal stakeholders, external auditors, supply chain affiliates and existing/potential clients.
- Arrange lines of credit, negotiate interest rates, leading all key accounting and finance areas across the enterprise.
- Monitor cash management to include balances and cash forecasts, bank affiliates and A/R and A/P leaders and their accountability to the overall financial health of the organization.
- Develops performance measures that support strategic direction.
- Develop and modify tax & financial strategies – working with outside accounting/auditing firms and other financial institutions.
- Assists with formulating the Company’s future direction and support of long and short-term strategic initiatives.
- Ensures the Company’s annual audit, capex and budget process meets all required standards.
- Oversees acquisition exercises.
- Constructs finance and accounting organizational structures that includes sister company and other legal entities that support the enterprise (JK Landholdings, JK Community Farm, etc.) while ensuring talent acquisition and development paces with the growth goals.
- Directs the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) that ensure process and execution standards as appropriate and meets various ISO requirements.
- Works with foreign banking and payroll entities for our globally based affiliates.
- Ensures accuracy and timeliness of financial reports and banking relationship reporting.
- Establishes necessary corporate bank loans and lines of credit.
- Lead Capex oversight.
- Establishes methods for G&A allocations.
- Ensures that all credit and collection activities are performed with due diligence and monitoring.
- Initiates necessary activities to improve financial interface and financial reporting throughout the organization.
- Coordinates and directs the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, institutes and maintains other planning and control procedures (including the cost accounting system), analyzing and making recommendations for variances.
- Tax planning and compliance (federal, state, local, payroll, etc.).
Planning
- Formulation of company direction and initiatives

Operations
- Participate and consult on key decisions as a member of the executive leadership team
- Maintain strong business relationships with each business unit and shared service leader
- Manage accounting, investor, tax, and treasury functions
- Consultancy for all financial operations of subsidiary companies
- Manage outsourced partner relationships
- Ensure operational best practices and automation to reduce headcount and maximize efficacy
- Benefit plan negotiations to maximize offering cost-effective benefits package
- Oversee and facilitate due diligence and negotiation of acquisition targets
Financial Information
- Develop and oversee the issuance and distribution of financial information
- Report financial results to the Chairman/CEO/Board of Directors and executive leaders
- Collaborate with executive leadership on the development/oversight of business agreements.
Risk Management
- Understand and mitigate elements of the Company’s risk profile
- Construct and monitor reliable control systems
- Maintain appropriate insurance coverages
- Ensure that the Company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
- Maintain corporate contract repository (key trigger dates and retention schedules)
Funding
- Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
- Arrange for debt and equity financing
- Invest funds
- Consult on investment of retirement funds
Third Parties
- Participate in conference calls with the investment community
- Maintain banking relationships
- Represent the company with investment bankers and investors
- Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting or finance.
- Professional certification preferred (ex: Certified Public Accountant).
- International finance experience, a plus.
- Solid business acumen within a corporate Fortune 500 business environment.
- 10+ years of strategic management and leadership accountability.
- Organizational modeling, negotiations, culture awareness and change management expertise.
- Contracts administration and negotiations experience a plus.
- Experience with complex employee profit-sharing and tax deferred investment mechanisms.
- Exceptional data analytics and analysis with a performance metrics acumen (PowerBI a plus).
- Highly proficient aptitude within a multitude of technology platforms.
- Excellent writing and communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Effective and demonstrated collaborations with senior leaders, advisory members, and CEOs for key business units.
- Highest level of professional and ethical standards.
