As a Senior Accounting Controller, you will be part of Orkla’s SFS, which handles advanced accounting issues and reporting for several companies within the Orkla Group. Together with your five wonderful colleagues in the department, you ensure that the company’s accounting meets both internal needs and guidelines as well as external laws and requirements. You will be responsible for Confectionery & Snacks Sweden with a turnover of approx. 2 billion and 450 employees.

Examples of tasks:

• Monthly, quarterly and annual accounts
• Reporting
• VAT and tax
• Annual reports
• Support the operations in accounting matters
• Develop processes within SFS to provide better support to the operations
• Participate in improvement projects around accounting and reporting processes within SFS
• Ensure effective internal controls

We are looking for someone with a degree in economics or equivalent with solid accounting experience. For example, you may have a background as an accounting manager, or you may have worked in auditing and perhaps for a few years as a qualified accounting economist at a company. We would like you to have experience in accounting and reporting in a group and to have an understanding of IFRS. Your Excel skills are very good, and if you have worked in SAP, we see that as a big plus.

As a person, you are driven, meticulous, analytical and good at planning and prioritizing your work. You also enjoy working closely with your colleagues in SFS. The position also involves interaction with many parts within the companies both internally and externally, which is why it is important that you are fearless and enjoy interacting and communicating with people at different functions and levels.
