The Director, Planning & Performance is responsible for planning and strategy of the plan to align the work required to deliver the annual plan membership and financials as well as the future adjacent growth strategies for longer-term success.
- Oversees planning, developing, monitoring, coordinating, and executing of business unit/market annual strategic plan including financial performance, operational performance, and on-going deliverables.
- Supports and supervises all necessary reporting, analytics, and business intelligence through direct production of local reports and serves as a liaison to enterprise reporting areas to ensure market and customer needs are met.
- Manages external business development to ensure execution and achievement of deliverables.
- Analyzes, researches, and develops complex business materials and documents relating to health issues, business performance, market dynamics, operational issues, and general business plan issues.
- Acts as liaison to shared services partners to ensure efficient and seamless business management and development.
- Executes on all internal business planning functions.
- Manages tactical plans of business unit objectives and ensures cross functional teams achieve targeted measures.
- Coordinates communication and implementation of key decisions of business unit.
- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Minimum Requirements
Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience including prior leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities And Experiences
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Project management, strategic planning and/or consulting experience in the health care industry strongly preferred.
