Our client is a professional services Group based in Leeds which provides digital, consultancy and wider agency services to its customers in the public and private sectors. With revenues of c.£50m and a strong balance sheet, the business is in an enviable position to grow significantly over the next 5-10 years.

Our client is now seeking a Chief Financial Officer to support the CEO, both tactically and strategically. Whilst the core of the role will be to manage the financials, the CFO will also be required to manage the Group shared services including M&A, IT and operations. This is an exciting role for a highly commercial CFO who is interested in a broader role than just the financials.

• Background in professional services, agency, digital or IT Services organisations
• Strong commercial acumen and evidence of input into helping to drive the growth agenda
• ACA/FCA or ACCA/FCCA qualified, with at least 10 years experience, and at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Track record of effectively leading and managing successful teams
• Demonstrable expertise in financial strategy, analysis and shareholder value maximization
• Familiarity with People, IT and compliance functions
• Strong IT skills- ahead of new technologies, including automation and database technology and financial software and systems
• Superior communication, negotiation and presentation skills
