About Our Client
Our client is a multinational firm who has a SSC in Selangor. They are looking for a GL / RTR Controller to support the Europe Region (2pm – 11pm).
- Ensures quality checks are performed on manual journal posting
- Review Balance Sheet Accounts Reconciliation and Financial Statements or P/L prepared by Accountants
- Review Management Reports
- Ensures Period-end and Year-end Ledger Closing is completed in a timely manner as per Global KPIs
- Responsible for drafting of Statutory Financial Statements
- Complete Assessment Cycles and Hyperion and BPC Close
- Own and provide audit support for internal and external requirements
- Effectively manage multiple stakeholders within the organisation for
- Ensuring all the data is accurate for reporting purposes
- Mentor, coach and develop team members and support workplace learning
- A degree in Finance or Accounting
- A minimum of 7 years of related experience with exposure to working in GBS / Shared Services environments and prior supervisory skills
- Experience in preparing accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, Overheads Close, Process Bank Transactions and Reconciliations, Intercompany Accounting and Reconciliation, Complete Assessment Cycles and Hyperion / BPC Close, Audit Support (Internal and External), Fixed Asset Transactions, Gross Margin Close, Budget/ Projection/ Financial Statements
- Master Data Management (MDM) knowledge
- Strong SAP knowledge
- Advanced MS Office knowledge
- Superior analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.
- Able to drive Continuous Improvement on Processes and Performance – consistently challenging status quo
- Experience of working in a / within a multicultural, international environment
- Strong and proven people management / supervisory background
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate in fluent English, in a clear manner to colleagues and customers
