The Senior Vice President should have a solid track record of delivering sophisticated business capabilities across enterprise, building effective business partnerships, leading business process / IT transformation initiatives, and cost management while ensuring a positive work environment that emphasizes teamwork to achieve common goals.
The successful candidate will be a very visible and highly effectual leader. They should be an energetic, self-motivated, and solution-focused individual that can collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Here, you will put your years of solid critical thinking to use, driving strategic change, managing budgets, people, and the innovative technology created.
- Collaborate with our Capability and Governance departments and functions within the Practice will ensure an end-to-end project lifecycle and governance structure that supports the growth of our business.
- Ensure implementation plans and working group materials are vetted and approved across all levels of management
- Partner with the Capability and Governance teams on best practices and oversight of programs implementation.
- Partner with IT, Legal, Compliance, Operational Risk and other boundary application departments
- Provide oversight of full program landscape to drive management transparency
- Have experience with strategic planning, managing significant change initiatives with multiple stakeholders with varying priorities
- Be an excellent project manager, capable of organizing and leading diverse project teams, performing the detailed work, and proactively identifying and resolving roadblocks
- Be comfortable navigating internal clients with the ability to drive decision making and gain consensus across groups, seniority levels, and interests in a complex global organization
- Create and deliver compelling presentations, effectively communicate with senior internal clients, simplify complexity, and provide thoughtful and succinct recommendations
- At least 10 years’ experience at large financial services firms
- Strong business and platform knowledge a must
- Leadership and organizational skills are required to determine the Program’s goals, structure, budget and resource need
- People Management skills to assess and develop the skills of staff.
- Strong team work skills to drive execution without direct reporting line responsibilities
- Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field
- Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services
- Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view
- Strong Office proficiency: Excel, MS Project, Powerpoint, etc
