Manages and drives the design, development, and delivery of strategic projects and initiatives across all pillars of the HR function. Understands the critical need for alignment of the overall strategy of HR and the Company. Works with all levels of HR leadership and key stakeholders to implement projects that deliver on business goals by enhancing performance and improving operational capabilities. Responsible for the successful execution of cross-functional projects, monitoring work status, and delivering regular updates to leadership on project status. Monitors progress to ensure scope, schedule, budget and quality align with project targets.
- Serves as the delivery lead on critical projects for which the HR Project Management Office (PMO) is accountable.
- Institutes project routines/processes and ensures effective planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting of project(s) health.
- Delivers strategic business projects on-time and on-budget. Produces quality deliverables by leveraging experience and project management methodologies.
- Collaborates with business leaders, diverse functional business teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals and implement change.
- Brings discipline and strategic thinking to projects being delivered, while being able to execute tactically and ensure that the project team delivers on their commitments.
- Influences and leads change, raising team effectiveness and performance.
- Facilitates discussion and conflict resolution within assigned project teams and across business functions.
- Manages issues, risks, and decisions using appropriate and agreed upon PMO processes and tools.
- Provides regular, ongoing reporting and communications to leadership regarding status of initiatives.
- Prepares and contributes to presentations for the PMO, business leadership and other key stakeholders. Manages the timeline and process by which materials are developed, reviewed, and prepared for meetings.
- Shares project delivery experiences and coaches project teams on project management techniques and concepts.
- Performs additional duties as directed.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
- 13 or more years of relevant professional program/project management experience
- Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies; certification preferred (LEAN, Six Sigma)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required
- Or any combination of relevant education and experience to meet the above requirements

- Ability to prioritize multiple activities and complex projects simultaneously and hold people accountable to deliver results
- Self-starter, can work independently and in a team – able to set tone and convey a sense of urgency
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Ability to develop audience appropriate presentation and deliverables that are compelling, understandable and succinct
- Capable of identifying barriers to achieving project goals and successfully solving them by working with appropriate business stakeholders and leaders
- Strong organization, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills and abilities
- Ability to manage teams across multiple related disciplines and across geographical locations
- Strong facilitation and negotiation skills
