  • Establish, implement, and drive the strategic direction of the organization’s HR operations.
  • Collaborate with leaders and lines of business to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.
  • Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company’s efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
  • Oversee the management of the HCM, onboarding, offboarding, background checks and employee orientation.
  • Manage the creation of analytic dashboards using employee data from the HCM for various reporting requirements.
  • Oversight of all country, state and local governance and reporting requirements such as EEO, AAP, Occupational Employment Data, etc.
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate HR policies and procedures.
  • Implement policies and procedures that will improve the company’s overall competitive edge and employee satisfaction.
  • Oversight of communication to the company to explain new directives, policies, or procedures; for major changes, communicates to senior leaders first to explain changes, answer questions, and gain buy-in.
  • Lead coordination and integration of efforts among lines of business such as finance, legal, compliance, technology, etc. to increase efficiency and reduce expenses.
  • As a culture carrier, emphasizes the importance of the company’s values through practice; project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
  • Review expenses and budget with CHRO and finance partners.
  • Present periodic performance reports and metrics to the leadership team.
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies, trends in HR operations and industry peer practices.
  • Identify training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided.
  • Oversight of contingent workers, immigration, and HR vendor management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or related field required
  • Diversified background with at least 10 years of industry-related experience including five years in upper management required.
  • Extensive knowledge of best practices, principles, theories, and policies as relate to HR in financial services.
  • Superior leadership and diplomacy skills.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, HCMs, and other related software.
