We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Procurement Operations.
- Assist with the implementation of ‘best in class’ standards for the Procurement Operations functions within the remit area. This includes the review and audit of third party payment processes performed by the Offshore team
- Support and make duly suggestions to the Request to Pay process including corporate card, with the knowledge of the Global Requisition Management procedure and Finance policy and procedures
- To work very closely with subject matter experts such as Finance, operational risk, auditors, security & fraud risks to ensure that HSBC’s financial risks are identified & mitigated
- Close partnering with the offshore colleagues on managing service levels on day to day operational activities
- Manage escalations and queries from internal (HSBC users) and provide guidance on troubleshooting system payment portal issues, queries on Request to Pay process
- Manage external stakeholders – e.g. Suppliers, with proactiveness on Key Supplier accounts with reconciliation knowledge and efforts
- Support the function on implementation of Group’s initiatives and projects
- Tertiary or equivalent experience in Procurement. Experience in Accounting or Finance will be an added advantage.
- Independent and resourceful
- Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Knowledge in Oracle system would be an added advantage
- Excellent Microsoft Office skill
