We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Innovation to drive digital transformation and spearhead innovation initiatives within our real estate group of companies.
The Head of Innovation will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance customer experience, optimize investments, and streamline operations.
This role requires some understanding of the real estate industry (e.g.: Asset Lifecycle Management, Integrated Facilities Management, Infrastructure, Utilities, etc.), technological advancements, and a passion for driving change.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully implementing innovative solutions and fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive innovation strategy aligned with the company’s objectives, focusing on superior customer experience, investment optimization, and operations excellence.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and team members, to identify areas for innovation, prioritize initiatives, and ensure seamless integration of innovation projects across the organization.
  • External Ecosystem Management: Build and nurture relationships with external partners, startups, and industry experts to foster innovation and identify potential opportunities for new businesses and partnerships.
  • Research and Analysis: Stay up to date with market trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the real estate industry and related fields. Conduct research, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to identify innovative solutions and assess their viability and potential impact.
  • Innovation Pipeline: Establish and manage an innovation pipeline, including ideation, concept development, prototyping, and implementation. Ensure a systematic approach to evaluate and prioritize innovation projects based on their strategic value and alignment with company goals.
  • Change Management: Drive a culture of innovation, change, and continuous improvement across the organization. Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and awareness programs to foster creativity, collaboration, and a growth mindset.
  • Performance Measurement: Develop metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness and impact of innovation initiatives. Regularly monitor, evaluate, and report on the progress of projects and their alignment with predefined objectives.
  • Budget Management: Collaborate with finance and relevant stakeholders to develop and manage the innovation budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for innovation projects.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent the company in industry conferences, events, and forums. Share insights, best practices, and thought leadership to position the organization as an innovative leader in the real estate industry.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, innovation management, technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in innovation management, digital transformation, or a similar role within the real estate or related industries.
  • Industry Knowledge: Some understanding of the real estate industry (e.g.: Asset Lifecycle Management, Integrated Facilities Management, Infrastructure, Utilities, etc.), including market dynamics, customer preferences, investment strategies, and operational challenges. Familiarity with emerging technologies and their application in the real estate sector is a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership experience in driving innovation and managing cross-functional teams. Ability to inspire, influence, and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to address complex business challenges. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for driving change and embracing new ideas. Comfortable with ambiguity and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Communication and Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present complex ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Networking and Partnership Building: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners, startups, and industry experts. Experience in identifying and nurturing potential business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Change Management: Experience in driving organizational change, fostering a culture of innovation, and implementing agile methodologies.
